Long associated with Royalty, King Henry III in 1268 granted the monks a license to hunt hare and fox in the grounds of Park Hall. Today it is set in the midst of a 600-acre working country farm, surrounded by ancient oaks and green fields where it incorporates all the best features of a lovely country home. The sweeping drive takes you through to the entrance of Park Hall Country House where the front door opens onto a room spectacularly filled with oak beams and an inglenook fireplace that is ablaze on the cold winter and autumn mornings. Passing through into a large open hall where the reds and golds blend well together and a collection of teddy bears, both old and new, adorn the grand piano that forms a striking focal point. The guest lounge, just off the hall, is a room of magnificent proportions with its spectacular crystal chandelier.
